Plump Chef Seasonings & Rubs Now At Armadillo Pepper



Every now and then you come across some seasonings that simply make cooking easy! The Plump Chef has done just that with their line of seven Plump Chef "Shakes".

A collection of these seasonings will give you everything you need from an all purpose/general seasoning to fish, venison and wild bird. At Armadillo Pepper, we carry the full-line of Plump Chef Shakes including:

Smokey Tomato Fondue Recipe
  • 1 large shallot sliced
  • 9 Roma tomatoes, with the cores removed
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 Ancho chili with the seeds and stem removed
  • 1 cup olive oil

Toss in a large saute pan and roast at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool enough to handle and puree in the blender with 1 Tbsp paprika and 1 ½ tsp kosher salt

Place in the refrigerator to cool.

Diablo Beef Bites Recipe
  • 1 Pound of Beef Tenderloin tips
  • 2 Roma tomatoes- chopped
  • 2 green onions- chopped
  • 1 cup of Mixed Salad Greens
  • ¼ cup of Fried Onion Straws
  • Plump Chef Diablo Shake
Season Beef Tips liberally with Diablo Shake.  In a hot pan, add oil and sear the beef tips for 5-6 minutes. For the final minute of cooking add some chopped tomato and green onion with a pat of melted butter.  Serve on top of a bed of mixed greens and sprinkle with fried onion chips.  Put the smoky fondue sauce in a cup for dipping or drizzle over the top of the beef.
