Today we are reviewing Fat Cat Caribbean Curry Hot Sauce. Fat Cat Sauces are owned by the husband and wife team of Eyal (pronounced “Ale,” like the beer) Goldshmid and Deborah Moskowitz out of Orlando. The brand was named after their fat cat Tiggy.
Fat Cat offers a variety of sauces and although each packs some heat, Fat Cat prefers to highlight the flavors and quality of their ingredients rather than test the limits of the Scoville scale. Fat Cat’s Caribbean Curry Hot Sauce was a 2012 Hot Pepper Award winner. Ingredients include water, onion, vinegar, green peppers, yellow habaneros, red serranos, sugar, garlic, salt, Jamaican curry powder, vegetable oil (soybean or canola), natural vegetable gums. All natural. Preservative free. Vegan and vegetarian compliant. Gluten-free and soy free.
This sauce has a nice orange color, medium consistency and you immediately smell the curry. It will pair well with chicken, seafood, rice and gumbo. The heat for the sauce is approximately 5 out of 10. See our complete video review below.
