CaJohns Trinidad Scorpion Hot Sauce

Today we are reviewing CaJohns Trinidad Scorpion Hot Sauce made with Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Peppers. In this video we look at the sauce, rank the heat and provide suggestions for using this hot sauce.

This sauce starts with a good first impression through a colorful label that features a gold scorpion at center stage with fire in the background and tips of the scorpion’s legs.

Next, the ingredients include Trinidad Scorpion Chiles, Vinegar, Onion, Tomatoes, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Salt and Spices.

When opening the bottle you will smell the onions and garlic followed by the tomatoes and then scorpion chiles. Consistency is medium. Upon the first taste you will immediately get the tomato and chiles.

This sauce will pair well with any tomato based dish whether it be pasta, tacos, burritos, pizza and chile. The heat is pretty hot, somewhere between 6 to 8 on a scale of 10, depending on your hot sauce experience.
