Immediately on opening the jar you will notice a salsa consistency that is chunky. You can see chunks of tomato, garlic and black pepper. The aroma definitely includes garlic (which makes sense as SilverLeaf offers many different types of marinated/pickled garlic).

For those of you looking for a Salsa with flavor and heat, you will want to try SilverLeaf Ghost Pepper Salsa. This is more flavorful and definitely packs significantly more heat than your typical “grocery store salsa”!
