If you haven’t experienced grilled pork loin with a coffee rub then it’s time to try this delicious and easy dish. It only takes 15-20 minutes to prepare and offers a flavor that the entire family will enjoy.
You can certainly make your own coffee rub by doing a simple query on your favorite search engine. I prefer to use the readily available coffee rub from the 4 Rivers Smokehouse chain of BBQ restaurants here in Florida. The ingredients of this rub include salt, pepper, ground coffee, sugar and other spices.
- Liberally apply the 4 Rivers Smokehouse Coffee Rub to your pork loin and let the pork loin come to room temperature.
- Heat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grilling time for a little more than 1.5 lbs of pork loin is 15 to 20 minutes depending on the actual heat of your grill.
- After 4-5 minutes turn the pork loin and continue to turn every 4-5 minutes until ready. You want to cook the pork loin to 145 degrees minimum. Tip: Cook the pork loin on 4 sides. This will ensure the pork loin cooks evenly.
This is really an easy and flavorful entree. For the detailed process, see our Grilled Pork Loin with 4 Rivers Smokehouse Coffee Rub Video below.
For sides, this dish can be served with mashed potatoes or wild rice. Another good option is grilled asparagus (see How to Grill Asparagus). Today we settled on wild rice and corn.
